Stone3D.AI v2026.09.21

by devhoa
  • Deployed to: Server 70 (alva-server70)
  • Modules: Quotes, Process

This release focuses on the Quotes module, centered around a new reporting dashboard, quote PDF export, permission controls across the full quote lifecycle, an Expedite surcharge feature, automated Operation setup, and more flexible costing tools for estimators.

New Features

  • Quotes Reporting Dashboard: A new reporting screen for the Quotes module, featuring overview KPI cards, a revenue trend chart, a loss-reason breakdown chart, and an Estimator leaderboard. Page filters are scoped to the logged-in user’s permissions. Clicking a KPI or a chart data point opens the corresponding, pre-filtered list of Quotes.
  • SLA and Loss Reason Tracking: When marking a Quote as “Lost,” users can select a Loss Reason from a predefined catalog for reporting purposes. The Quotes Report now includes SLA/response-time metrics and workload volume per Estimator.
  • Quote PDF Export: Export a Quote directly to a standardized PDF (header info, line item list, terms) for sending to customers.
  • Expedite Surcharge Formula: Added a dedicated calculation mechanism for expedited-delivery surcharges, applied to the Quote’s Lead Time.
  • Per-Facility Work Calendar for Lead Time: Each Facility (plant/branch) can configure its own working days per week for more accurate Lead Time calculations. Lead Time on individual Operations supports manual override, with an audit trail of who made the change.
  • Selectable Setup Time/Run Time Display Unit: Operations can now choose a separate display unit (hours, minutes, etc.) for Setup Time and Run Time, instead of being fixed to a single shared unit.
  • Multiple Operations of the Same Type per Process: A Process can now include multiple Operations of the same type (previously limited to exactly one), supporting manufacturing processes that repeat a step multiple times.
  • Quote Lifecycle-Based Permissions: All key actions on a Quote — approve, cancel, delete/restore, add/remove Parts, upload/delete files, bulk actions, and creating a new Quote — are now governed by each user’s assigned permissions, rather than solely by the Quote’s status.
  • Auto-Generate Operations from Process: When a Process is selected for a Line Item, the system automatically maps and pre-populates the corresponding list of Operations, significantly reducing manual entry when starting a quote.
  • Tier Cost Override: Estimators can manually override Operation and Material costs for each individual quantity tier (Per-Qty tier), instead of applying one flat cost across the entire Quote.
  • Yield Management: Added a yield rate to Process configuration and Quote Item details, so quoted costs better reflect real manufacturing outcomes.
  • Pricing Formula Authoring & Versioning: Supports creating Drafts of pricing formulas before publishing, storing multiple Formula Template versions, and Operation-level variable overrides (Operation Variable Override) — making pricing formula updates more flexible and safer.
  • Custom Pricing Table Versioning: Custom Pricing Tables used in pricing formulas now support multiple versions, version history, and a dedicated detail page per table. A specific version can be “pinned” to a Quote to keep the quoted price unchanged even if the source table is updated later.
  • Bulk Line Item Actions: Added two new bulk actions — “Make Assembly” and “Duplicate” — applicable to multiple selected Line Items at once.
  • CAD File Management on Line Items: Supports drag-and-drop upload, as well as download and delete, of CAD files directly on each Line Item.
  • Quote Defaults: The Quote settings page supports configuring default Facility, Salesperson, and Expiration days, automatically applied when creating a new Quote.

Improvements

  • Refactored the Line Item Editor, clearly showing per-tier costs and Estimator info directly on each row.
  • Improved BOM handling for Parts with multiple meshes (multiple 3D geometries), and added support for removing a Component from the BOM tree.
  • Enhanced currency handling across Reporting page components.
  • Report page filters are now synced to the URL, enabling sharing or bookmarking a specific filter view.
  • Tier Cost Override now fully tracks who made each change and when.
  • Optimized Quote repricing performance: formula caching per work session and batched writes for Operation/Material/Variable data instead of row-by-row, significantly reducing wait time when editing a Quote.
  • Simplified the Quote edit-permission matrix, removing two confusing intermediate levels.
  • Quote attachments now support thumbnail generation and inline 3D model viewing.
  • Materials can now be individually flagged as Outside Service to reflect costs accurately.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed duplicate Operations when mapping from Process to Quote, and improved handling of failed mappings.
  • Fixed the Actions menu on Quotes being disabled under incorrect conditions, and fixed missing permission checks on 3 Quote-creation screens.
  • Fixed issues found during a final QA pass on the Reporting page: duplicate data, missing translations, and inaccurate date handling.
  • Decoupled Report page URL filter sync from actual pagination state, preventing conflicts when filtering and paging at the same time.
  • Fixed extraneous events firing when drag-and-drop reordering of Materials/Operations didn’t actually change the order.
  • Fixed an SLA/response-time query leaking cross-tenant data (tenant isolation leak via a CTE).
  • Fixed incorrect revenue trend totals when the report was filtered by Quote status.
  • Added a missing index on the partially-accepted timestamp column, preventing slow report queries.
  • Fixed duplicate child Components during Quote repricing (Recalculator).
  • Fixed the Quote Submission Policy to correctly filter valid Line Items, excluding invalid BOM child Components when checking whether a Quote is eligible to be sent to the customer.
